Epidural Injections
An epidural injection provides pain relief from inflammation in the spine or extremities. Helpful for treating inflammation, chronic pain, bulging or herniated discs, spinal stenosis.
Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (M.I.L.D.)
M.I.L.D. can be useful in treating lumbar spinal stenosis. This treatment creates space in the spinal canal while maintaining the natural supporting structure of bone and muscle in the spine.
Facet Joint Injections
A facet joint injection can serve two purposes. One, it can define the joint that is the source of pain and can provide pain relief with a steroid injection to the inflamed joint.
EMG Testing (Electrodiagnostic Medicine)
Electrodiagnostic (EMG) testing is used to diagnose muscle disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome and musculoskeletal issues. This procedure measures how well the muscles and the nerves that control them are working.
Radiofrequency Ablation
Radiofrequency ablation is when an electrical current created from a radio wave is used to heat a small area of nerve tissue, helping to decrease the pain signals. Radiofrequency ablation can help treat chronic back and neck pain, and pain related to the degeneration of joints from arthritis.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Injections
PRP therapy relieves pain through enhancing and promoting the healing of musculoskeletal injuries. The concentrated PRP is injected into and around the point of injury. This increases the concentrations of platelets at the site of the damaged tissue magnifying the healing effect of a natural response.

A native of Livingston, NJ, Dr. Kim is now proud to serve her surrounding communities in New Jersey and New York.

Dr. Yae is skilled in minimally invasive procedures, electrodiagnostic medicine, ultrasound-guided interventions, osteopathic manipulative treatment and medical acupuncture.
